Our electrification transforms the restored chassis with a refined interior, modern suspension, and adjustable electric power steering.
It integrates four brake-boosted disc brakes, LED headlights, a climate control unit with heater and defroster, and premium Volkswagen battery components. The batteries are strategically placed between the reinforced frame rails and in the engine compartment for balanced weight distribution. Precision-engineered CNC aluminum double-wishbone suspension on both axles delivers exceptional handling, while a 230 V power outlet adds a touch of everyday practicality, perfect for powering anything from tools to a coffee machine.
The interior of the T1 combines timeless design with modern functionality, featuring a custom retro-style SOC dial, a hybrid tachometer, and a bluetooth radio unit paired with a powerful modern speaker.
Beneath the radio sits the main control unit featuring a CNC-machined DNR dial, Eco mode, charge unlock button, and heater controls.
The upper control unit contains the ignition button, emergency and silent mode buttons, as well as the sport mode key, which unlocks the full 220 kW (300 hp) output for track use.
It also includes an integrated display showing power output, high-voltage status, handbrake, charging, and cooling indicators. The display brightness can be adjusted via a turn dial.
